Midcentury Pewter Cream and Sugar Set

Now, here’s midcentury modern for you!  A lovely little pewter cream and sugar set on a tray, ready to look fab on your sideboard.  Or plant a succulent in the sugar bowl and use the creamer as a tiny watering jug – you’re sure to get comments!!

The bowl and jug are stamped with “Pewter Norway” and 690-4-OX and the tray is stamped the same, but the number is 690-3.

And here is the very same set in the Telemark Museum (Norwegian Digital Museum) where it’s part of the Berg/Kragerø Collection, dating the set production to 1950-1960:

The tray is just over 7″ long, 3.75″ wide and the set stands just under 2″ tall.  There is small signs of use on the sugar bowl and creamer, and the tray has a small dent in the middle but it doesn’t show when the bowl and creamer are on top.
