Pewter and Teak Wall Mount Candle Holder

$37.50

Everyone knows Norwegians love candlelight!  Maybe it’s because of those dark winter nights that you see candles everywhere in Norway.  Read more about Norwegian “koselig” here.

This is a wall mounted teak and pewter candle holder.  It’s from the 1950’s and made by Hardanger Sylvplett, a renowned Norwegian manufacturer famous for Viking-inspired pewter cutlery and home decor since 1958.

It can fit a tealight or a small pillar candle no wider than 1.75″.  It features Saint Olav – a Norwegian king from the middle ages – along with his men and Viking ships.  The Konge Tinn (King Pewter) series features Viking influenced themes with many items showing Saint Olav.  For 70 years old, it’s in great shape and we don’t see any dents or cracks.  This would look awesome on your wall and even better in the evening when you light the candle!

The candleholder is just over 12″ tall and 3″ at its widest.  It weighs 7oz.
