This is a hand painted ceramic wall plaque signed by the artist, Erik Nossum. While not dated, Nossum sold his ceramics in Spikkestad, south west of Oslo, in the 60’s and 70’s.
The ceramic shows a folklore style couple and says, “Husband and wife is one life”. This would be a fun gift for newly weds! The piece is in great shape with no chips or scratches and is ready to hang on your wall or use as a fun trivet.
The plaque is 6.5″ inches tall and 5″ wide at the top, and weighs just under 3oz.
