This is a very cute decorative wooden Rosemaling spoon. The Rosemaling style is Telemark. The spoon is painted black with designs in blue, green, rust and mustard with beige accents. We’re not sure how old this piece is, but its in great shape with no scratches or cracks. Most Norwegians hang decorative spoons like this on their kitchen wall. In fact, this spoon has a small hole drilled through the top of the handle precisely for the purpose of hanging it.
The spoon is 9″ long and 2.25″ at the widest. It weighs 2oz.
