Norwegian Konge Tinn Pewter Jam Spoon

$35.00

While vintage, this pewter spoon and it’s original box looks brand new!  The jam spoon is made by Hardanger Sylvplett, a renowned Norwegian manufacturer famous for Viking-inspired pewter cutlery and home decor.  From the 1950’s, Konge Tinn is a series of Viking influenced themes featured on many of their pewter items.

The spoon doesn’t look to have been used; there are no scratches or signs of wear at all.  The box is pristine and includes the little foldout about Konge Tinn.  You can certainly give this item as a gift to your favorite Viking, or as a wedding present to a lucky couple.  The spoon is just over 6″ long and 1.75″ at it’s widest.  It weighs around 2.5oz.

Included in the handle’s design is an etching of Holy King Olav, his men and their Viking ship.  Even the back of the handle has different etching; three Viking ships and a stone with “Tinn Pewter Norway” in rune-inspired letters.  Definitely a piece that will be discussed at your breakfast table!
