Troll-Tinn is a renowned Norwegian pewter foundry located in Hønefoss, near Oslo, and established in 1962. Troll-Tinn is known for its high quality handmade metalwork.
This is a large pewter ladle that we found in Sofiemyr which is a few hours drive south of Oslo, the capital of Norway. The ladle is 11.5″ long and 3.25″ at its widest, and weighs just over 8oz. The back is stamped with “265422 Troll-Tinn NORSK TINN”. The ladle was part of a cutlery set that is no longer available and highly collectable. In its original gift box, it comes with a matching pewter hook for wall mounting.
